Parents and Guardians,
Our Co-ed Track & Field season and boys and girls Soccer seasons are starting soon. Both are offered to all 6th-8th graders currently enrolled at Discovery
First Track Practice- Tuesday March 31st.
First Soccer Practice- Tuesday April 7th
We will be having an informational meeting for families with the coaches and Athletics Director on Tuesday, April 7th at 5:35pm in the Discovery gym following the first practice.
All student athletes need to have a current sports physical on record with the school. Sports physicals are valid for one calendar year and must be current for the duration of the season in order to participate. Where to get a Sports Physical - CHSSA Sports Physical Form
All student athletes will be required to remain eligible throughout the duration of each sports season. Discovery Magnet’s eligibility requirements can be found here:

All Practices are Tuesday-Friday from 3:45-5:25.
Soccer: Games are held on T/Th at 5pm. Specific schedules can be seen here:

Track & Field: Schedules are not yet finalized; our schedule will be finalized at our Athletics Directors meeting on 3/6. I will post it as soon as it is finalized. We try to have meets on Wednesdays but they can be any school day, and occasionally Saturdays. These dates are scheduled at the availability of our district high schools (where all meets are held).
Please complete registration forms as soon as possible. Athletics fees per student, per sport are $150 and will be added to student fees in Infinite Campus after registration is complete.
Be sure to join the Discovery Soccer group or Discovery Track & Field group in the “Band” app during registration (links listed in registration form).
